The East Caribbean Financial Holding Company Ltd (ECFH), in a symbolic gesture, officially presented its annual calendar to the family of the late Sir Arthur Lewis represented by Dr. Vaughan Lewis. The presentation was made during the Nobel Laureate Week celebrations at the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College Campus on January 27th. The calendar entitled “A Vision of Greatness through the Pursuit of Excellence” was dedicated to the life and the legacy of St. Lucia’s first Nobel Laureate.
ECFH recognizes the invaluable contributions of Sir Arthur Lewis, who was awarded the 1979 Sveriges Riksbank Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences for his pioneering contributions in developmental economics. As one of the most celebrated corporate citizens in the region, ECFH continues to contribute positively to the economic and social development of St. Lucia through the provision of innovative financial products and services and through its comprehensive social responsibility programme.
