The East Caribbean Financial Holding Company Limited (ECFH) announces the retirement of its Group Managing Director (GMD) Mr. Robert Norstrom. After a nine-year contribution to ECFH Mr. Norstrom proceeds on pre-retirement vacation effective Monday 17th December 2012.
In the interim, the Board has assigned Mrs. Esther Browne-Weekes to act in the position of GMD until a permanent appointment is made. Mrs. Browne-Weekes experience spans several years in the financial services sector in the areas of Financial Management, Risk Management and Strategic Management. She has an MSc in Finance and is a Certified Director from the ICSA (Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators) Directors Education and Accreditation Programme.
ECFH is one of the largest financial services group in the OECS, employs approximately 630 persons, and operates a number of subsidiaries, including the Bank of Saint Lucia Ltd, Bank of Saint Lucia International Ltd (BOSLIL), Bank of St. Vincent & the Grenadines Ltd, EC Global Insurance Co. Ltd, and ECFH Global Investment Solutions Ltd (ECFH Global Investments).
